This app costs $2.99. iallowance allows parents to pick the chores and paydays for your kids. Parents also have the freedom to make changes as often as he wants. The money is paid out into “Banks”. Banks are a cute way of saying categories. If you are using the envelope method this app will get your kids a better understanding of how this budget works.

There is a “bank” for cellphone to clothing allowances. This app will teach your child how to manage their money using different accounts and spend only what that account was categorized for. Reminders are set for the kids if they didn’t complete their chores. There is also an option if you didn’t want to use “real money” you could use “Stars” (a point system) or mix them up. 1`

this app is perfect for the visual learner. This app shows your child what they are working so hard to save for. Parents and Children are able to set up goals with pictures and there is no limit to the number of goals that could be added. If your child’s goal is to purchase the new L.O.L Surprise amazing for $120. Then the parent would set chores over a period of time to equal the “Goal” of $120. Your child will be paid via a free checking account from a company named ” Kasasa.

#4 Allowance & Chore Bot

This app is completely free and great for multiple children who are completive. Parents create a chore list and spark some friendly completion. Payouts of the kid’s allowance are daily, weekly or monthly. I really like that the calendar is displayed and chores could be set up in a loop. So if taking out the trash is an everyday task, you don’t have to worry about entering it every day.

#5 Chore Check

Although Chore Check has a 3.2 rating based on 34 ratings. It’s Free and has all the potential!! OK, let’s get to the review!!! My honest one 🙂 Once the chores are completed/ approved, allowances are broken down into three categories. (Spend, Save and Give) Kids are paid though a Chore Check Pay which is a healthy $9.00 a month or using a prepaid MasterCard. The MasterCard is OK, the fees aren’t bad but I’ve seen better. Users love this app but complain that it could be glitchy. Hopefully, the developers improve and continue working on it.

#6 GoHenry 4.6 rating and $3.99 per kid a month

This app is similar to BusyKid but focuses less on work ethic but the focus is on the money. Perfect for the older kids. After the chore has been completed and approved then they have the option of saving, spending and donating. There are options to save up towards a goal, so your kid won’t less focus on it.

#7 OurHome 4.2 rating on Google and Free

This is for the parent who isn’t big on giving children money on thinks they should always be doing. I suggest you read my post about How to talk to your children about money and read tip #5. Please don’t be that parent.

But back to the review, OurHome is less on the “money” but more on teaching “responsibly”. It’s also a great app for parents to keep up with your do list.

#8 Rooster money allowance manager 4.5 on Google and FREE

Perfect for the little babies!!! Perfect for our kiddos who are 3 or 4. This app focuses more on “Stars” than earning money. This app teaches our little ones the concept of earning “Stars” and learning how to budget. This app grows with your child. Once they get a little older, parents have the option of replacing “Stars” which real money. The cool thing is this app could even be paired with Alexa. So when you see your kid acting like they don’t have anything to do. Tell them to ask Alexa, “What’s on the chore list.

****Bonus*** #9 Keep The Change Kids (Game)

#10 BusyKid

BusyKid is a Shark Tank investment. Mr. Wonderful even liked this amazing app. This app is unique because it has five different categories. Earn, Save, Donate, Invest and Spend.

The category “EARN” allows parents to set the chores and the price per chore. Payday is every Friday.

The category “SAVE” shows your kid the benefits of saving. Just like when you are paid and this is the time to teach them to save 20% of their earnings. When you teach them young is will be easier to keep this fiance habit

The “DONATE” category are charities at a glance. This category is great. It teaches your child how to be more well rounded.

The “INVEST” category is groundbreaking!!!!!!! Your child will learn how to turn their allowance to real stock investment.

The “SPEND” category shows your kids all their options of spending their allowance. When parents opt-in and choose the “Busy Kid Prepaid spend card” parents will be able to see every transaction made and the fee is $7.99 per year to open.
