The biggest omission is the ability to repost photos or videos. Generally speaking, you need a third-party app to accomplish this—and there are quite a few available. So, without further ado, here are the best Instagram repost apps.

Pros: Repost: For Instagram provides a very easy-to-use app experience. Simply open the Instagram app via Repost’s button or manually, find the post you want, tap the three buttons in the top right corner, and select Copy Link. After you return to Repost: For Instagram, the post will appear under its archive list.
Once you interact with the post, there are just a few streamlined options to work with. You can copy the post’s caption text to your clipboard by tapping the slider button. For those particular about the watermark, you can change its color and position as well.
Afterward, simply press Share to finish; it’ll open Instagram’s posting prompt.
Besides its simplicity, the app’s ability to access your camera roll makes for a nice backup should anything go wrong. The collage option also provides a nice multi-post option which the majority of Instagram repost apps shy away from.
Cons: You still have to remember to paste the caption copying it. There’s a paid variant, so you’ll have to deal with some annoying ads and a reference to @withregram in the copied caption.

The app provides you with four modes to try as a free user. The most convenient one is the “Selection Pop-up Mode.” After you’ve selected Copy Link on Instagram or shared the post to Regrann, Regrann offers you the option to save, share, post later, access Snapchat, or post the image to your Instagram stories and feed.
If you don’t want to be prompted each time, Regrann can help you there too. If you choose quick repost mode, Regrann will automatically use Instagram as the repost location. Quick save mode will send photos and videos automatically to your phone. Meanwhile, quick post-later mode will automatically save posts for you, and you can send them to Instagram when you’re ready.
Once you get to the editing stage for your post, you can apply a filter to the image or insert text onto it. In terms of text options, you’re given the option to alter the font, color, background, and alignment.
Regrann also provides you the option to place a credit watermark or a custom watermark of your choosing. The app automatically copies the caption, and also gives you the option to have a text “signature” to add to the caption or to replace the caption with.

The free version allows you to repost images (single or multiple) quickly and allows you to copy the caption along with the original account’s username so you can give proper attribution.
You can either choose to watermark the image or not, depending on what you prefer. Many other free repost apps require you to pay to remove the watermark on the image.
The fact that this app allows you to repost without the watermark in the free version is what makes it one of my favorite repost apps for iOS and Android.
The one thing I don’t like about this app is that it credits itself in the copied caption, which you will need to delete each time, however, considering the app is free, it’s a small price to pay for being able to repost photos to Instagram seamlessly.
- Repost for Instagram [Android]

Repost for Instagram is a free app that is currently only available for Android users. While I have an iPhone, I was able to get this app before it was discontinued. I enjoy how easy this app makes it to repost content to Instagram. It also copies the caption and includes photo attribution so you never forget to give proper credit.
This app is free, but the free version will include a watermark over the reposted photos. If you’d like to remove the watermark, you will need to upgrade to the pro version which is $4.99.
Unlike the app mentioned above, this repost app for Instagram doesn’t allow you to repost posts with multiple images; it will only repost the first image.

So far, the reposting apps I have mentioned do not allow you to regram/repost videos to Instagram, only photos. But there’s a repost app for Instagram that allows you to regram any video you’d like! As with images, you will need to give proper credit when you regram videos. - Repost for Instagram: Regrann [Andriod]

Another great reposting app for Instagram is Regrann, although it’s only available for Android users. Like the others mentioned, Regrann is easy to use, uses a simple copy and paste method for copying the copy and attribution and regrams photos and videos. You can also set a signature that appears in every image that you regram.
Setting a signature is very helpful if you have a specific set of hashtags that you always use, so you don’t need to copy and paste them manually with each post.
Regrann also gives you the ability to schedule your content if you purchase the pro app.

Benefits of Reposting on Instagram
