Well, Tinybeans is an app that does exactly what it says — it offers unlimited photo storage and also a chance to create memories and read useful how-to tips that can help you be more involved and less stressed as a parent.

Being a new mom has its unique challenges, and since a lot of women have to be alone with a baby throughout the day, and despite all the love a mother feels for her child, it can get boring and lonely at times. That’s why staying in touch with other people can make you feel more connected and appreciated, because sometimes, we all need to talk to someone who understands, and using apps for moms to make friends can significantly improve your life and help you find new moms to talk to. Having like-minded people around can be extremely helpful because there’s nothing more liberating than being able to chat about challenges of motherhood with other mothers who know exactly what you’re going through.
  4. Sound Sleeper: Best white noise app for a baby (iOS and Android)

    Best parenting apps
Babies can be difficult sleepers, especially during the first 12 months of their life, so using a helpful app that emits white noise sounds can be of great use. The basic free version still offers a lot of options, such as white noise music and a muted menu that won’t distract the baby. Also, there are other wonderful features, such as the opportunity to record your own lullabies and track baby’s sleeping in order to learn more about their sleeping patterns. Using white noise apps can help you spend the night in peace because it’s very likely that your baby will sleep without any disturbances. Still, there are some reports that white noise might cause potential developmental problems for children, so be cautious and stop using the app immediately in case you notice any behavioural issues.
  5. Baby+ (iOS and Android)

This app is an all-encompassing tool that lets you create a routine for your baby, while also giving you the option to track your child’s progress and capture important moments in your child’s life. Interactive graphs can help you see your child’s growth, including their weight, height and head circumference. Additionally, there are also numerous guides and tips that can help you learn more about child growth, which is something that all parents need if they want to have a clear overview of their baby’s development.

TALLI BABY
Talli Baby is definitely one of the top tracking apps out there. It tracks everything with the push of a button or a click on the app. The app is super easy to use and makes you incredibly prepared for doctor’s visits. The app will provide data on pee diapers, pooped diapers, milestones, which breast to feed on next, and more. You can even send this data to your doctor or nanny so they know the exact schedule the baby is on.

HATCH BABY SMART CHANGING PAD

Lay your baby down to change them and push a button to capture his weight at the same time. This gets stored and displayed in the free Hatch Baby activity tracker (which can be used without the smart changing pad, too). Parents can compare their baby’s growth to data from the World Health Organization, instantly. The app can also be used to log diapers, sleep, and feeding.

Plus, Hatch Baby will remind you to take a photo a day in the app so that it can generate a video at the end of the year. The video will show your baby growing a year’s worth in a minute. (This will surely go viral among your Facebook friends! Or at least your family.)

OUR FAVORITE SLEEP TRACKING TOOL: HUCKLEBERRY

Want professional sleep advice for your little one right at your fingertips? Huckleberry is an affordable way to get the help you need. SweetSpot, their free sleep help tool, is the best place to start. They also offer affordable personalized guidance by sleep experts! You take a questionnaire, track your little one’s sleep for a couple of days, then both the algorithm and the experts took a look at your data. From there, a custom sleep plan is created for you to follow.

Huckleberry Premium is truly a great chance to take action without breaking the bank because you receive continued guidance and milestone assessments. I mean, you get expert advice personalized to your family’s needs for less than $20! Trust me, your sleep is worth this small investment.

It allows you to keep your people updated on the due date, your gift registry information, the latest pictures and important milestones once your baby arrives.

We especially love this app for people that have extended friends & family across the world. Rather than a personal page, you have a family page allowing you to give updates about each family member and see other family’s updates! Check it out here.

HOW I FOUND OUT TRACKING IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF PARENTING
Sleep deprivation can make keeping track of time challenging for new parents. When our baby was old enough to start sleeping in regular stretches, we realized we still were unsure of what these patterns were (Because what time was that? Were we up for an hour or was that 10 minutes? It’s all the same).

It was then we realized we needed to find a way to track his sleep and wake times. We went back to our trusty notebook, believing that if we wrote down what was happening, we could make some sense out of it.

For me, the baby’s naps always felt to be just about 20 minutes long. When we started tracking, I realized he was actually napping for much longer. It was helpful to have logged the start time for a reality check. Woman, you’ve been scrolling on Instagram for 90 minutes. Whoops.
