Chrome Extension For Students

It’s hard to imagine what schoolwork was like before we had the internet to help out. We have tons of websites, applications, and software just a few clicks away to help us with researching, cross-referencing, writing essays, and more.

To help you study even further, Chrome extensions are a great way to automate your schoolwork. The possibilities are endless: you can generate automatic citations, scan your essays through a proofreader, save relevant infographics and memes for an upcoming project, and more!

Since extensions are easy to use and built right into your browser, they’re also great at keeping you focused on your work — and in some cases, away from distraction entirely.

So before you find yourself finished with an entire afternoon of “studying” with nothing to show for it, here are some awesome Chrome extensions that you can install in less than a minute to help you make the most out of your learning!

Thankfully, you can use Grammarly to help make your essays and assignments more understandable. This is an advanced writing tool that detects mistakes in your writing and tells you how to fix them.

Grammarly can be used to scan through all your essays for spelling, grammar, clarity, style, variety, and tone. It even explains its suggestions to you so that you can continue to improve your writing!

  • Fixes grammatical errors and mistakes in real-time
  • Highly useful for non-native English speakers
  • Excellent online grammar knowledgebase

Have you ever felt envious of other students that can afford a dual monitor setup? With Dualless, you can easily split your browser windows into two with just two clicks! It’s a great way to make the most out of your computer screen without having to manually move between different tabs. Use this extension to tackle your assigned readings and take notes, or attend a meeting while jotting down the details simultaneously.

The extension is straightforward and easy to use; once you install it, a drop-down menu shows all the different ratios you can split your screen into. You can also choose between splitting the two screens side by side or stacking one on top of the other.
