Short answer: It is safe to study there but not recommended to live in the neighborhood, especially in your first year in Toronto.
Long answer:
York University is in the neighbor the Finch and Jane intersection, which is a very high crime neighborhood.
If you take Jane and Finch as the center and draw a circle of radius 3km, York University stays well within it. I attach a Google Map screenshot for your reference.
I have lived at the edge of that circle for a couple of years and I can count numerous horror news in that circle.

There are only a few universities in Canada that offer 2 year courses in digital marketing. Some of the universities offer a 1 year program in digital marketing.
The duration of the course will not make you an expert. For higher success in digital marketing, you need quality training and guidance from experienced trainers. If you are well-prepared with grades to study in Canada, almost every university will accept you assuming you have a minimum of proof of funds for year 1 tuition and $10,000 for living expenses.
But if you are looking for easy, start with University Canada West. Don’t worry that only a few of their programs qualify for post-graduation work permits and that employers will turn their nose up at your application once they see UCW on your CV.
But it is all about getting PR rather than a good education, so who cares,
