B2b Social Media Tools

There are many different social media tools that are available to use, but not all of them are as effective as they could be. While it may seem like a good idea to use every tool under the sun, it’s better to focus your efforts on a few select tools that will help you achieve your goals.

In this blog post we’ll introduce you to some of our favorite B2B social media tools so you can make the most out of your time online!

The first tool we recommend is Buffer. Buffer allows you to schedule posts across multiple social media platforms at once so that your content is posted at optimal times. It also allows you to track which posts get more engagement so that you can adjust future posts accordingly.

Another great tool for B2B marketers is Canva. Canva makes it easy for anyone with little design experience to create professional quality images quickly and easily. It has templates built-in for many different types of images including headers, banners, logos and more! It also includes pre-designed templates if none of their options meet your needs exactly right away (though these only come in black/white). Canva offers its users access to over 1 million images from sites like Unsplash or Pixabay which can be

13 B2B Social Media Tools to Drive Growth in 2021
03 December 2020 by Anna Crowe
Social media is everywhere — on our phones, at work, even in our fridges (if that’s a thing that you’re into, anyway.)

It’s even in our B2B marketing — or it should be. If social media is holding your B2B company back, I’ve got great news.

There are tons of tools on the market designed to help make social media marketing easier by providing more data, better insights, and even automating some processes.

But, there are hundreds of social media tools on the market, and not all of them are ideal for B2B. Which tools can help you drive more leads (and revenue!)?

Here’s a rundown of the top B2B social media tools.

Note: Want to turn more social media leads into prospects? Sign up and try Leadfeeder free for 14 days to see which companies visit your website and then retarget them on social media sites like LinkedIn.

Lead Generation tools for B2B social media marketing
In B2B, social media isn’t just about getting likes and comments — it’s about driving leads that you can turn into paying customers. These tools will help you convert social media followers into prospects and, hopefully, customers.

Leadfeeder
Leadfeeder home page
Pricing: 14-day free trial, paid plans start at $79/month

Rating: 4.3 stars on G2 (Based on 575 reviews)

Leadfeeder tells you what companies visit your website, even if they never fill out a form or contact you.

Leadfeeder also shows you contact information for employees at the company. This allows you to follow up with visitors who never inquired about your product or time your outreach to potential leads in your sales pipeline.

And in the case of social media, Leadfeeder integrates with LinkedIn and can help you nurture and retarget companies.

To try out Leadeeder, all you need to do is install the Leadfeeder Tracker (it takes less than 5 minutes!).

A 14-day free trial is available with paid plans starting at $79/month.

To sign up for Leadfeeder, follow these steps. We can start sending you leads in minutes.

LinkTree
linktree social media management tool
Pricing: Pro plan starts at $6 per month

Rating: 4.3 out of five stars on G2

LinkTree is a social media link management tool — and it’s definitely not for everyone. But, it’s affordable and incredibly helpful for small businesses, so I thought it deserved a spot on this list!

Basically, LinkTree creates a custom landing page with links to all your important content in one place.

The most ideal use-case for LinkTree is on Instagram, where you can only share one link in the bio. Instead of sharing your website, you can share your LinkTree link, with links to content you’ve shared recently, new tool courses or products, and all your important content. This link can be shared anywhere, including LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and YouTube.

If you’re looking for a way to turn social followers into leads, LinkTree is a great tool to have in your arsenal.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator
linkedin sales navigator
Pricing: 1 month free trial, paid plans start at $64.99 a month (billed annually)

Rating: 4.2 out of 5 stars on G2

Unlike most of the tools on our B2B social media list, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is not a third party tool. It’s actually a premium product offered by LinkedIn, and it’s incredibly powerful for several reasons. For starters, it gives brands direct access to their target audience, and helps fill the gap in social media tools that focus mostly on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

So, what can you expect with Sales Navigator?

Features vary based on the plan, but you’ll get access to real-time sales updates about leads, the ability to sort leads with tags, lead recommendations, and 20 InMail messages per month. For a full look at features, take a peek at their compare plans page, which provides more details.

Scheduling & Management Tools for B2B Social Media Marketing
One of the most time-consuming parts of social media is scheduling and tracking posts. These tools will help your B2B company stay active on all the important platforms.

oktopost social media management tool
Oktopost
Pricing: No pricing listed online; contact for a demo and pricing

Rating: 4.4 out of 5 stars on Capterra

Oktopost is a B2B social media tool designed to help enterprise businesses publish posts, measure their efforts, and engage with their audience. It includes workflow features like post approval, which helps larger companies scale their social media efforts. They also make it easy to find conversation around topics that impact your brand to stay engaged with your audience and deliver a better customer experience.

Oktopost is designed for B2B companies but tends to be used by enterprise businesses, so it might be too much for smaller B2B brands.

agorapulse social media management tool
Agorapulse
Pricing: Plans start at $79/month billed annually

Rating: 4.6 out of 5 stars on Capterra

Agorapulse is a full-featured social media scheduling, reporting, and engagement tool. It makes it easier for B2B companies to manage multiple social accounts all in one place by providing an ‘in-box’ where multiple members can manage comments, schedule posts, and track metrics.

It also offers workflow tools like tasks and bulk editing options. Keep track of engaged users by adding customer notes, tracking their history, and using custom labels to stay on top of your most engaged social followers.

buffer social media management tool
Buffer
Pricing: 14-day free trial, paid plans start at $15 per month

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 stars

Buffer is one of the OGs of social media management. It’s a full-featured tool for scheduling, creating, tracking, and responding to comments on social media. It wasn’t designed specifically with B2B businesses in mind, but it is still a solid all-around social media tool.

Here are a few of my favorite Buffer features:

Manage and track all your social media accounts in one place.

Track the effectiveness of campaigns, and generate snazzy reports.

Create and coordinate visually appealing social media posts.

Respond to comments faster by pulling them all into one dashboard.

If your company is highly active on social media, Buffer is an ideal way to manage everything all in one place.

meetedgar social media management tool
MeetEdgar
Pricing: Free 7-day trial, paid plans start at $19 per month

Rating: 4.6 out of 5 stars

MeetEdgar is a social media automation and scheduling tool designed to make social media easier. Sounds good, right? If you are looking for a way to automate social sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, this is the tool you’ve been looking for.

Top features include automatically finding and sharing relevant content, importing new content, A/B testing, link tracking, and automatically reporting. If you need to stay on top of comments, MeetEdgar might not meet your needs — but if you’re looking to be active on all the big social platforms, MeetEdgar makes it simple.

sprout social media tool
Sprout Social
Pricing: Free 30-day trial, paid plans start at $99 per month per user

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 stars on G2

Sprout Social is a robust social media scheduling and monitoring tool designed with brands in mind. Top features include an all-in-one social inbox, the ability to publish and schedule posts, keyword and brand monitoring, detailed reports, and custom workflow options.

Sprout Social is an ideal choice for brands looking to stay on top of their social media profiles, monitor brand awareness, and gain access to incredibly detailed reporting tools. The tool works with Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Social Media Monitoring Tools for B2B
What do your customers have to say about your brand? If you aren’t listening, you could be missing out on opportunities to turn irritated customers into brand ambassadors and provide better customer service.

These tools will help your B2B company monitor what people are saying about your brand and your industry online.

brand24 online brand reputation listening tool
Brand24
Pricing: Free 14-day trial, paid plans start at $49 per month

Rating: 4.7 out of 5 stars on Capterra

Brand24 is not a social media scheduling or even just a monitoring tool — it’s more of an online reputation listening tool. Brand24 keeps its ear to the ground by paying attention to social media, news, blogs, videos, and every other type of content for brand mentions.

Features of note include customizable instant notifications, automated sentiment analysis to detect positive and negative comments, the ability to respond, and detailed reports. If you are looking to track PR and online marketing efforts through brand awareness, this tool will help you do just that.

clarabridge social listening tool
Clarabridge
Pricing: No pricing listed, call for a quote

Rating: 4.2 out of 5 stars on G2

Previously called Engagor, Clarabridge is an AI-powered social media listening platform designed to help B2B businesses increase sales, ensure compliance, and manage conversations that happen on social media and other platforms.

Unlike other tools that only listen on social, Clarabridge can listen to calls, online reviews, social media posts, and surveys so you can track feedback everywhere. It also provides detailed data insights so you can see exactly what is working.

hubspot social media monitoring tool
Hubspot
Pricing: Paid plans for the Marketing Hub start at $45 per month (up to 1,000 contacts)

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 stars on G2

Hubspot offers several different tools, including a CRM, marketing automation, and social media management tool. They claim to be “one social tool to rule them all.”

So, what does Hubspot’s social tool do? For starters, it helps you manage all of your social accounts in one place, so no more hopping back and forth between Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. It also suggests the best time to post, and can automatically post new content as you publish it.

For small businesses with 1,000 or fewer contacts, it can be an attractive option, but pricing goes up drastically (from $45 a month to $800 a month) if you have more than 2,000 contacts.

mention social media listening tool
Mention
Pricing: Free plan for 1 alert and up to 3 social accounts; paid plans start at $25 per month

Rating: 4.7 out of 5 stars on Capterra

Mention is a powerful social media listening platform designed to help brands listen, monitor, and publish social media posts across platforms. It monitors more than 1 billion sources across the web and notifies you any time your brand or a product is mentioned.

The inbox feature provides a stream of actionable data that allows several people to monitor accounts simultaneously. Each mention can be marked as “priority”, “unread”, “archive” or “favorite,” helping teams stay on top of mentions without being overwhelmed.

One big drawback from a B2B standpoint is Mention does not integrate with Linkedin; just Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.

khoros digital customer engagement tool
Khoros
Pricing: No pricing provided; call for a quote

Rating: 3.8 out of 5 start on G2

Khoros is an enterprise-level social media marketing and digital customer engagement tool destined to help brands build connections across every digital platform — including social media, digital communities, reviews, and SMS text.

Khoros offer several products, including a social media marketing tool to help brands schedule, publish, and measure social media growth. The platform is designed to be scalable by providing data insights, access control, and cross-channel conversation management in one platform.

Which B2B Social Media Tool is Right for Your Company?
Managing social media doesn’t have to be a headache. If you are tired of bouncing around between platforms and struggling to figure out what actually works, it’s time to put one of these B2B social media tools to the test.

Just remember that one tool might not do it all. You might pair a large tool, like Buffer or Sprout Social, with tools that fill the LinkedIn gap, like Leadfeeder and Sales Navigator.

Luckily, most tools offer a free trial so you can try them out and see which one best fits your sales and marketing goals!

Best social media platforms for B2B marketers
by Khoros Staff | May 15, 2018
According to a study by the Content Marketing Institute, 83% of B2B marketers are using social media as a content marketing tactic.1 With a continuously-evolving landscape of channels used to distribute content, how do you decide which ones are right for your business?

While B2B marketers still see email as the most important platform to overall content marketing success, LinkedIn ranks higher than all other social platforms, followed by YouTube, Twitter, SlideShare, Facebook, Instagram, and Google+.

Khoros Marketing
Here we explore the four top social media platforms for B2B marketers, plus how you can use each channel to drive immediate results. Read our Social Media Pocket Guide for additional insight or check out our Social Marketing Management RFP Checklist to help choose the right social management technology.

Social Marketing Management: RFP Checklist

  1. LinkedIn
There are more than 675 million professionals on LinkedIn,3 and they’re doing more than just looking for new jobs. They’re reading status updates, clicking to view articles, and, most important, converting to leads. In fact, 80% of leads sourced through social media for B2B marketers come from LinkedIn.4 Additionally, if you’re looking to educate prospects on the value of your solution, LinkedIn drives more traffic to B2B blogs and websites than Facebook and Twitter combined.5

How to drive B2B marketing results on LinkedIn: Make content marketing on LinkedIn a priority, amplify your messages through employee advocacy, and reach your target audience through paid ads.

  1. Twitter
When asked which channels they use to distribute content, 77% of B2B respondents listed Twitter.6 Although the use of Twitter is down 8% since 2014,7 it still ranks second in the list of top social media platforms. Marketing leaders and their CEOs understand that it’s an efficient and effective way to get out their message.8

How to drive B2B marketing results on Twitter: Through tailored audiences and re-marketing, reach prospects who have already expressed interest in your business. Target ad campaigns to website or mobile app visitors or upload your own list of prospect email addresses and phone numbers.

Over 288,000 CEOs use Twitter to connect with customers, develop influence and show thought leadership.9

  • Twitter for Executives
  1. YouTube
Like Twitter, YouTube has become less popular with B2B marketers than it once was, but it still ranks as the fourth most important channel by which to distribute content.10 While the once ubiquitous social sharing platform has faced stiff competition from Twitter and Facebook native video in recent years, it remains a great video search engine.11

How to drive B2B marketing results on YouTube: Optimize your video for maximum exposure so that your videos will display prominently in Google search results, drawing in more traffic and establishing your brand as the “go-to expert.”12 Focus on educational or how-to videos that explain your business’s unique value proposition.13 Keep them under three minutes long with optimized titles, relevant keywords in your tags, and a corresponding transcript. Lastly, use unobtrusive YouTube annotations with strong calls to action that promote your website or latest product offer.14

A well-optimized video can be displayed prominently on Google, drawing in even more traffic and helping you to establish yourself as the go-to expert.15

  1. SlideShare
Forbes has called SlideShare, which was recently acquired by Scribd,16 the quiet giant of content marketing because most marketers have yet to tap into its full potential,17 despite the fact that it receives 500% more traffic from business owners than any other social platform.18 Since Google indexes every presentation on SlideShare, a large part of that traffic comes from organic search.

How to drive B2B marketing results on SlideShare: Once you’ve extended your brand identity to your SlideShare account with the profile customization tool, make SlideShare part of every campaign by sharing presentations, videos, webinars, and infographics. Embed lead forms into your slides, or guide your reader to the next step by linking your website. Lastly, use SlideShare’s free analytics reporting to determine what’s working and what’s not.

SlideShare receives 500 percent more traffic from business owners than Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.19
