You can use Honey on both your computer and mobile phone or tablet. Shopping Honey through the mobile app will earn you Honey Gold that you can later redeem by using a computer to navigate to the website.
Method1Signing Up
- 1Download the Honey app from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Honey is a free app that’s highly rated and popular on the app stores for couponing.
- You can search “Honey” in the search bar at the top of your screen (Google Play Store) or in the search tab at the bottom of the screen (App Store). The icon looks like a cursive “h” on an orange background and is developed by Honey or Honey Science.
- 2Open Honey. This app icon looks like a cursive “h” on an orange background that you’ll find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.

- 3Tap the account tab. It’s in the bottom right corner of your screen with the image of an avatar.

- 5Tap Not a member? Join Honey. It’s at the bottom of your screen.
- 6Join using your Google, Facebook, PayPal, or Apple account information or tap Join with Email. If you rather not connect Honey to any of those accounts, you can tap to create a Honey account with an email address.
- You can also use a web browser if you don’t want to use the app. Navigate to https://www.joinhoney.com.
Method2Earning Honey Gold
- 1Open Honey. This app icon looks like a cursive “h” on an orange background that you’ll find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.
- You’ll see a list of items categorized by “Your Daily Deals,” “Trending Stores,” and more.
- 2Tap an item to view it. The details page will open so you can view more images, the product description, and price.
- 3Tap Shop on Website. You’ll be redirected to the retailer’s site, but you’ll see the Honey icon in the lower right corner of your screen.
- You can tap this to see what coupons or savings are available with this retailer as well as a tab that explains the rewards you can get.
- 4Make a purchase. When you make a purchase, you’ll earn Honey Gold. You can find a brief list of participating retailers at https://www.joinhoney.com/honeygold/browse, but there are over 5,500 retailers and most aren’t listed.
- To track your Honey Gold, tap the profile icon in the Honey app and look for the gold coin symbol.

1. Locate the bottom Navigation menu, and you’ll see all of the familiar Honey icons.
2. Tap your company logo to find your Organization page which includes your Member Directory, Groups, Resources, and Events.
3. Use the home icon to head to your Personal page. From here, locate your Posts, drafts, likes, and saves.
4. Select the magnifying glass icon to access Search.
5. Locate the bell icon to view all notifications, likes, and Confirmations.
6. Lastly, press the gear icon to view your profile, access your account settings, locate tools, and view the Honey support page.
Please note that Admins will need to visit Honey on a browser to require Groups by department and locations as well as reorder Resources.
